Green Architecture for All in High-density High-rise Contexts - A Dialogue with Green Architect Tony Ip

Join our monthly talk in October! We will have a dialogue with our Green Architect Tony Ip to explore green architecture in populated city like Hong Kong.

Having received the HKSAR Medal of Honour 2022, Ten Outstanding Young Persons Award 2016, EcoStar Award 2014 and HKIA Young Architect Award 2010, Tony Ip is a community-centric, sustainable design architect and urban designer based in Hong Kong.

Joanna Fong, a current year 3 HKU architectural student and the Chairperson of Architectural Students’ Association, HKU, Session 2021-2022, will also join us to moderate and share her learning experience at the University of Hong Kong.

Are you pursuing an international qualification such as the IB and GCE A-Level/ International A-Level? You probably know that you are eligible to apply to the University of Hong Kong (HKU) through the Non-JUPAS Admissions Scheme. But did you know that there’re specific subject requirements for some of the undergraduate programmes offered by HKU?

HKU-SCF FinTech Academy is pleased to announce the launch of the HKU-SCF High School Student Workshop Series.  Our first workshop, co-organized with the HKU FinTech Student Association (HKU FTSA), titled “Digital Asset and Non-Fungible Token”.

Non-Fungible Token (NFT) has risen rapidly since 2020 and has become one of the most popular applications in the FinTech field. The news and media have been constantly talking about it, but do you understand what it is and its potential impact on the world?

Through this interactive workshop, you will gain fundamental knowledge on digital assets and NFT, the technologies behind them, and the application of the NFT in the financial industry and our daily lives.
