This camp concentrates on nurturing the students’ ability to identify and articulate viable business ideas within the scope of the competition. Through a blend of interactive workshops, practical exercises and dialogues with the industry leaders and investors, participants will hone their skills in teamwork, critical analysis, and entrepreneurial strategy. The camp’s structure is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience that equips aspiring young innovators with the business tools and confidence needed to excel in any competition of its kind.
In the programme, you will have the chance to meet and discuss with Mr Yun Xiong, a portfolio manager of a top tier quant hedge fund. The hedge fund is the market leader in implementing AI technologies into its investment research, operations automation, and investor service. Mr. Xiong is experienced in leading a team of developers and researchers for projects to combine traditional financial models with the latest AI and Fintech technology.
The teams of UCode (STEM) and ALPHA Quants (Entrepreneurship) has been a great complement to each other. We are confident that this STEM + Entrepreneurship Summer School at the University of Hong Kong will be a major success for students.
Students are required to bring their own laptop.
