Non-refundable Application Fee: HKD 100
Programme Fees: HKD 16,000 (The meals and accommodation at Peking University are also included, students will stay in student dormitories)
– For HKU Academy Members will receive an exclusive scholarship of HKD 3,000, which will be automatically deducted from the Programme Fee upon application.
In the event of a high volume of applications resulting in all available spots being filled, we may schedule an additional session from July 21 to 24, 2026. Certain students will be invited to attend the course during this period.

Programme Description:
HKU – PKU Yuanpei College Summer Academy 2026 offers an immersive four-day experience designed for students eager to engage with the frontiers of academia. Through workshops and lectures, students will explore a diverse range of university disciplines, gaining a comprehensive understanding of various learning pathways, research methodologies, and the impact of interdisciplinary thinking on real-world challenges.
The programme features exclusive sessions led by professors from The University of Hong Kong and Peking University, providing students with the unique opportunity to learn from world-class experts. Complemented by an in-depth experience at Yuanpei College of Peking University, allowing students to gain a thorough insight into university life.
課程簡介:
港大優秀中學生暑期研修班提供沉浸式 4 天體驗，專為渴望提早觸及學術最前沿的中學生而設。在研修期間，中學生將透過精心設計的工作坊與課堂，探索大學的多元課程選擇，從而更全面了解不同領域的學習方向、研究方法，以及各種交叉學科如何在真實問題中發揮影響力。
該計劃更包含一系列由香港大學和北京大學教授主講的精彩課堂，讓你有機會向專業學者學習，了解他們在各自領域的最新研究與教學理念, 以及在北京大學元培學院的深度體驗，讓學生深入全面地了解大學生活。

Travel and Medical Insurance:
All students need to have valid travel and medical insurance as a mandatory condition for participation in our programmes. We strongly recommend that students secure their insurance policies well in advance of their departure to ensure continuous coverage.
*Programme Attendance Policies:
Students are highly encouraged to attend ALL classes on time for the duration of the Programme. Please note that according to the University’s attendance and absenteeism policy, at least 80% of the lectures and required classes for each curriculum must be attended.
*Please be informed that students are responsible for arranging their own travel to Beijing and are required to report to Peking University.
*The programme fee covers tuition fee. The meals and accommodation at Peking University (arranged in student dormitories) are also included. Personal consumption expenses are not included. (Additional charges may apply).
*Please be reminded to get a mainland phone number and set up a WeChat account in order to apply for on-campus meal cards as well as dormitory access control in PKU.
*The programme is subject to cancellation if there are insufficient applications.
