Kickstart your athletic adventure with HKU’s elite university teams:
Hockey
This clinic focuses on the technical mastery of stick handling, defensive positioning, and strategic play. Participants will engage in drills designed to improve hand-eye coordination and tactical awareness on the field.
Softball
The softball session introduces the fundamentals of the diamond, covering pitching mechanics, base-running strategies, and hitting techniques. It emphasizes team communication and the fast-paced nature of the sport.
Lacrosse
Learn essential passing/shooting techniques and participate in fast-paced skill challenges
All necessary gear is provided and no prior experience is required. Secure your spot today for these unforgettable sporting experiences!
Activity Fee: Free of charge (Non-refundable application fee: HKD100)
Activity Time: 6:30-8:30pm HKT
Activity Venue: Stanley Ho Sports Centre (Round-trip shuttle bus will be provided)
Meeting Point: Outside of HKU Main Building

Please apply only if you are joining the HKU Academy for the Talented Summer Programme at the same time as this activity.

- HKU Academy for the Talented (HKU AcT) reserves the right to postpone or cancel the event upon inclement weather conditions or if the Education Bureau of Hong Kong announces a suspension of schools.
- Places for each activity are limited and allocated on a first‑come, first‑served basis or according to selection criteria set by the HKU AcT. Submission of an application does not guarantee a place. The activity is subject to cancellation if there are insufficient applications.
- All students need to have valid travel and medical insurance as a mandatory condition for participation in our activities. HKU AcT shall not be held liable for any medical expenses incurred by participants, nor the loss, theft or damage of personal belongings.
- HKU AcT reserves the right to take photographs and video recordings during the event for promotional and archival purposes.
- All HKU AcT events are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-exchangeable and not for re-sale. In the event of disputes regarding these terms and conditions, HKU AcT reserves the right to make final judgment on the dispute.
