Effective Resume Writing (Workshop + one-on-one Consultation)

Programme Overview

The workshop session on Effective Resume Writing by the Centre for Applied English Studies aims to enable participants to understand the fundamental components of a resume. Participants will engage in hands-on activities during the workshop to draft their resumes and receive constructive feedback. By the end of the workshop, participants will be well-prepared to create effective and professional resumes that enhance their chances of securing interviews.

The one-on-one consultation of Resume Review aims to provide personalized feedback on individual resumes as well as address specific strengths and areas for improvement based on each participant’s unique experiences and career goals. The instructor will guide the participants in improving the overall presentation and formatting of their resumes to effectively showcase and highlight their qualifications.

10-minute One-on-one Consultation:

Date: 6, 8, 13, 15 May 2025 (5:00 pm – 7:30 pm)

A 10-minute Zoom consultation timeslot will be assigned to each participant before the end of March via emails.
