How to apply
By Invitation
The Academy is a membership-based programme at the University of Hong Kong. Members are academically elite secondary school students from all over the world. Membership is by invitation. Selected secondary schools in Hong Kong and abroad are invited to nominate top ranking students for the Academy’s consideration.
Self-nomination
Secondary students who are currently in Form 3-6 or Grade 9-12 can also nominate themselves for one of two annual intakes to the Academy (28 February and 30 September). Those interested in self-nomination can submit the application form along with a cover letter of academic and extra-curricular achievements to talented@hku.hk for the Academy’s review.
Membership fee
There is no membership fee. Programmes are tailor-made for members and either free of charge or covered by members’ scholarships.
