Prof. Lilian CHAN
Dr. Chan’s research interests include archival financial accounting and auditing, specifically in the areas of financial reporting quality, corporate disclosure, corporate governance, and investor trading behavior. One of her research is in the area of clawback provisions, which investigates the effects and consequences of clawback adoptions in terms of financial reporting quality and investment behavior. Her research has been cited by the SEC and covered in numerous international press releases including CFO.com, Accounting Today, Thomson Reuters, Financial Director, and National Law Review. Her publication was featured in the monthly press release by American Accounting Association (AAA).
Prof. Chen ZHAO
Professor Chen Zhao is a decision theorist whose research interests revolve around non-Bayesian learning. One strand of his research investigates how agents learn from general information that could be qualitative in nature, recommendations from a menu, or propositions contradictory to prior beliefs. Another strand models the heuristics agents use to learn from standard information and applies these heuristics to economic settings.
Prof. Vincent ZHANG
Vincent Peng Zhang research interests include digital advertising, omnichannel marketing, and new product development/innovation, where he applies various econometrical and machine learning techniques to empirically explore the link between managers’ strategic interventions and the focal firm’s business performance.
