| Workshop Overview: As part of The University of Hong Kong Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine (HKUMed)’s commitment to promoting public health awareness, HKUMed believe that empowering the young with life-saving knowledge plays a vital role in building a resilient and prepared community. Under the guidance of HKUMed, their trained assistant interns-passionate about healthcare education – will deliver a series of interactive talks and hands-on workshops designed to equip students with essential first aid and emergency response skills. |

| Workshop Includes The Following Topics: – CPR & AED Demonstration: Learn hands-only CPR to the beat of “Stayin’ Alive” and how to operate an Automated External Defibrillator (AED). – Anti-Choking Maneuvers: Master essential techniques to assist a choking victim. – Recognizing the Signs of a Stroke (FAST): Understand critical stroke symptoms and the importance of a rapid response. – Understanding Drug Dangers: Identify symptoms of poisoning and risks associated with substances such as Etomidate. – Detecting Life-Threatening Symptoms: Explore how technology aids in early detection of serious conditions such as lung cancer and the role of screening. |
