
Unveiling the Arab Legacy: Past and Present Perspectives
Programme Description
This five-day course offers an engaging exploration of the Arab world, both past and present, by examining various aspects of its rich history, culture, and contributions to the global community. Students will delve into topics such as an introduction to the Arab world and its language, ancient Egyptian language, Arab cuisine and eating manners, the Arab world’s contributions to the Western world during the Middle Ages, and a brief overview of the ancient Near East. Through hands-on workshops, presentations, and interactive discussions, students will gain a deeper understanding and appreciation for the Arab world and its diverse heritage.

Learning Outcomes
1. Students will develop a foundational understanding of the Arab world’s history, culture, and contributions to the global community.
2. Students will gain practical skills and knowledge in various aspects of the Arab world, such as language, cuisine, and historical achievements.
3. Students will enhance their critical thinking and analytical skills by examining the Arab world from various perspectives and time periods.
