Programme Description

This interdisciplinary course explores how artificial intelligence is reshaping human identity and the trajectory of our collective future. Students will critically analyse AI’s potential impacts across domains like work, creativity, ethics, governance, and existential questions about what it means to be human.

Learning Objectives

1. Analyse AI’s transformative impact on human identity, labour, culture, and governance.

2. Evaluate ethical dilemmas arising from AI integration.

3. Critically assess possible futures shaped by AI, balancing geopolitical and existential risks with opportunities for global progress.

4. Develop informed perspectives on designing equitable, human-centred AI systems for tomorrow’s challenges.
