Robotics Academy for the Talented
Programme Overview:
This five-day workshop offers participants a hands-on experience in operating an autonomous robotics rover. Participants will be guided in navigating the rover through various environments utilizing advanced robotics technologies. This includes mastering the operation of the rover with the Robotics Operating System (ROS), remote app control, visual tracking, Lidar mapping, as well as techniques for navigation and obstacle avoidance.
Learning Objectives:
Through this programme, participants will:
1) Develop proficiency in operating autonomous robotics systems.
2) Gain a comprehensive understanding of robotics operating systems for effective control.
3) Master remote control techniques for seamless operation.
4) Explore and implement visual tracking capabilities for autonomous navigation.
5) Enhance skills in spatial mapping and navigation techniques.
