Empowering Future Healthcare Academy
Programme Overview
This is an interdisciplinary 5-day programme supported by Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Education and School of Biomedical Engineering. We aim to offer high school students in S2-3 / Grade 8-9 / Year 9-10 an immersive experience of enhancing their understanding of healthcare industry through interactive lectures, laboratory practical sessions and a capstone project. The programme offers a comprehensive experience, combining theoretical knowledge, practical applications, and exposure to diverse perspectives in the healthcare field. Throughout this program, students have the opportunity to learn from various healthcare related stakeholders including faculty members, leading scholars, as well as current students from medical and related disciplines.
